The impacts of these decisions are massive - challenging designers with both the greatest opportunity and responsibility to create positive impact.

Imagine if we produced materials as intelligently as nature does: in regenerative, renewable cycles. If materials were produced this way, their production would have a direct positive impact on our environments; increased production would scale positive impact. To get here, we need thousands of progressive manufacturers who prioritize Triple Top Line economics, transparency and incremental improvement.

Ideas inspire change. To get where we're heading, education and awareness are critically needed. Education is used to inform, inspire, and collectively create responses. We are actively working with Chinese Universities to develop lectures, workshops and curriculum to scale the systematic principles of positive design thinking. GIGA's curriculum has been included at Tongji University, Hong Kong University, and MAS Shenzhen. GIGA has lectured and continues to lecture in numerous Chinese universities.

GIGA EP is available to students who participate in GIGA courses and academics who participate develop or implement positive impact curriculum in conjunction with GIGA.
